Overview

The GSO has now embarked on an implementation Phase Three, moving from formulation to implementation, with pilot projects designed to test and evaluate a Workplace Strategy for Diabetes and Wellness. The first of these pilot projects is focused on three Eastern European countries.  The GSO is seeking additional funding for pilot projects in other regions.  Please Contact GSO for additional details and to get involved in this exciting new project.

In October 2006, the Geneva Social Observatory launched a multi-year project on Diabetes and Social Responsibility with a series of roundtables on Diabetes and Social Responsibility in the World of Work in Geneva, Switzerland.  Phase One of this project was completed in June 2007. Phase Two culminated with a Forum to Adopt and Implement a Workplace Strategy on Diabetes and Wellness, leading to the current implementation phase.

Key documents providing details of the current status of the GSO Programme on Diabetes and Social Responsibility  include the Phase Two Forum Report and the Workplace Strategy on Diabetes and Wellness.
